Niagara Reads - October 17

The Adult Book Group is pleased to be hosting an author reading on Wednesday October 17 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m at the Fleming Library meeting room. The reading is part of the region-wide Niagara Reads program which takes place during the month of October, Canadian Library Month. The reading is open to the public, and there is free admission.

Kara Bartley, a Niagara Falls author and Vertebrate Paleontologist, will be presenting her fascinating thriller, The Siamese Mummy. The novel's central character is Jenna Matthews, a celebrated vertebrate paleontologist, returning home from a conference in Niagara Falls, who starts investigating the tale of sick animals and missing people in Kansas.

Diane Bisson, author of 'Tragedy, Truth & Triumph', will be sharing her touching and poignant message based on her horrific motorcycle accident in Sydney, Australia. Diane is a retired bilingual educator and Special Education Specialist with 35 years of teaching experience. Diane has also written, designed, and published a series of children's books.
