Wii for Seniors

The Lincoln Public Library, in conjunction with the Beamsville Seniors Club, will be offering Wii Bowling and other active programs for Seniors.

The Wii Club for Seniors will start in April.

There is still space in our Books and Babies, Tales for Twos and Preschool Storyhours at both our Fleming (Beamsville) and Moses F. Rittenhouse (Vineland) Library locations.

Holiday Closures

Both locations of the Lincoln Public Library - the Fleming (Beamsville) Library and the Moses F. Rittenhouse (Vineland) Library - will be closed for the holiday season:

December 24, 25. 26 and January 1.

The Library will close on December 31 at 5:00 p.m.

The regular schedule will apply for the rest of the holiday season.

The Lincoln Public Library is conducting a Community Needs Survey. Copies are available at both branches.

Please participate in this survey because we need your input to ensure that the Library is providing the collections, programs and services you need. You will be able to choose a free book and will be entered into a draw for a great prize!

Kelley Armstrong and Edo Von Belkom Coming this Monday - October 19

Don't miss out on the most exciting literary event this year in Lincoln!

Kelley Armstrong - the most renowned Canadian paranormal author and Edo Von Belkom - an award winning fantasy author - are coming to the Lincoln Centre, Central Ave. Beamsville on Monday October 19.

Library Delivery Service

Do you know someone who is housebound, either temporarily due to illness or surgery or due to a permanent condition? Would they benefit from a regular delivery of library books, DVDs, etc.?

The Lincoln Public Library provides a delivery service for those who cannot come to the library. Library staff will prepare a list of items based on the preferences of the recipient. Items will then be delivered by volunteers.

Coronation Street Club

The next get-together of the Coronation Street Club will take place Wednesday September 23 at 6:30 p.m.

Note that the club program will be slightly different due to the time change for Coronation Street. We will view the episode at 6:30 p.m. and then have our quiz and general Coronation Street discussion.

Join a Winning Team - Be a Volunteer!

Looking for a volunteer job? Want one that will benefit the whole community? Come join the library's volunteer team!

We welcome high school students who need to complete community service hours and others who have some spare time to contribute to their Library.

Some of the projects available include helping with children's programming, assisting with the indexing of the local history collection and collection returns.

The work of volunteers is greatly appreciated because they enhance what the library can do for the community.
