Volunteer Opportunities at the Library
Looking for a volunteer job? Want one that will benefit the whole community? Come join the library's volunteer team!
We welcome high school students who need to complete community service hours and others who have some spare time to contribute to their Library.
Some of the projects available include helping with children's programming, assisting with the indexing of the local history collection and shelf reading.

March Break Program Update
The Multi-Cultural Food Fest and the Passport to Past programs at the Fleming (Beamsville) Library are now full. We are taking names for a waiting list in case of cancellations.
Both the Multi-Cultural Food Fest and Passport to the Past programs at the Moses F. Rittenhouse (Vineland) Library have been cancelled due to low registration.
There is still room in all the teen March Break programs.

New Fax and Colour Copy Services
The Lincoln Public Library is now offering fax and colour copy services at both the Fleming (Beamsville) and Moses F. Rittenhouse (Vineland) Libraries.
The cost for fax service is $1.50 for the first page and $1.00 for subsequent pages.
Colour copies cost $1.00 per page.

Coronation Street Club
The next meeting of the Coronation Street Club will be held Wednesday March 25, 6:30 p.m. at the Lincoln Centre. We will have a Corrie quiz before watching that night's episode. I have some special prizes that have been donated to the group for the winners!

March Break Programs
The Lincoln Public Library will be offering two fantastic programs for children in Grade 1 and up.
Multi-Cultural Food Fest!
This March Break, cooking instructor Alba Siena will teach us how to make foods from around the world. We will enjoy Mexican tacos, Caribbean fresh fruit kabobs and St. Paddy’s Day mint chocolate shakes. We’ll listen to some tales from near and far and decorate our chef hats too!

Passport to the Past
Join us as we explore the cultural roots of the settlers to the Niagara region. Miss Sylvia from the Jordan Museum will help us experience the pioneer way of life with the stories, crafts and activities that the pioneers brought from their countries of origin.

Users fees for Grimsby and St. Catharines Residents
The Lincoln Public Library Board has approved an annual non-resident fee of $35 for St. Catharines and Grimsby residents beginning January 1, 2009.
This decision was made after the St. Catharines and Grimsby Public Library Boards turned down the Lincoln Public Library Board’s request for reciprocal or free borrowing for Lincoln residents at their libraries.
Residents of Grimsby and St. Catharines are encouraged to contact their ibraries to reconsider reciprocal borrowing with Lincoln.
Residents of West Lincoln will continue to receive free library privileges under a reciprocal borrowing agreement.

PA Day Movie Afternoon

Lincoln Public Library Holiday Open House
Bring your family and friends for some holiday cheer on Saturday December 20 from 1 - 4 p.m. at the Moses F. Rittenhouse Library in Vineland. Children will create a Christmas craft and everyone can join a sing-a-long with Mendelt Hoekstra.
